Tips
Finding Lost Golf Balls
One of the most common penalties in golf, and one of the major causes for slow play, is lost golf balls. We are all familiar with the golfers known for losing 3 or more golf balls a round. If this applies to you, here are some helpful tips.
Golfers should practice watching all their shots land, even on the driving range. Most players do not follow the flight of bad shots on the range and this habit carries over to the course. Practice watching all shots land and encourage fellow players to watch all shots also.
Players are always counting number of putts, greens in regulation, and penalty strokes to evaluate their score, eliminating lost Ball penalties is a way to improve your score without changing your swing or putting stroke, and you will play faster!
If you continue to lose golf balls because the ball lands too far off the fairway to see, it may be time for a lesson from your local golf professional. Remember, golf is just a game, have some fun with it!
Remember to practice in order to improve your game!
