    GOLF18 Technolgy

GOLF18 indoor golf centers use the AboutGolf simulator technology. Deemed the best in the industry, AboutGolf simulators are featured on the PGA web site and are approved for certifying teaching professionals by the PGTCA. This technology has been developed over seventeen years and contains the most advanced code base for golf simulation in the industry.

Our ball tracking sensor technology applies advanced applications of phased array microwave ballistic tracking technology. The Flightscope Sim Sensor, exclusively used in the AboutGolf Simulator, is unparalleled with respect to indoor golf ball launch detection and club analysis.

Ours is the only product that provides fully 3D rendered environments, including all trees and objects (other products apply flat frame graphics that are far less realistic in performance).

Our ball and club tracking system is solid state with no consumable parts, very easy to calibrate, and maintenance free. You should expect virtually no down time from the sensor or software.

Our sensor provides more accurate and more overall data, including ball speed, vertical launch angle, horizontal launch angle, sidespin, and back spin. It also directly measures the club, providing club head speed, horizontal strike angle, vertical strike angle, and club face angle.
